This is a  Rucci's Gym event in conjunction with the Global Powerlifting Committee (GPC).

​

The Push/Pull is an annual event whereby every state holds a separate competition and overall National winners are recognised.

​

Our event this year will also host novice lifters!

session and group information

There will be 4 flights run over 1 session.

​

Tentative flights to be released after weigh-ins on Saturday and then finalised before competition starts on Sunday.

Weigh Ins

24 hour weigh-in available on 3rd December 2022 between 9am and 3pm.

Same day weigh in from 7am - 8:15am.the 4th December 2022.

Equipment checks will be performed at the weigh in.

GPC lifters, before competing please make sure you have a valid GPC membership.

You will need your personal equipment, pin rack heights, opening attempt selections,

entry form and score card (available on the day of the weigh-in).

​

One handler/coach wrist band will be issued.

​

Check the competition timetable for your session and group.

​

Access the warmup room for your session. Competition staff on the day will assist.

​

Confirm your name and details are correct on the competition screens in the warmup area.

​

Begin warming up when your group details appear on the middle competition screen.

​

Review the warmup area rules.

​

Access the platform from the right-hand side and marshal to the side of the platform.

​

Exit to the left-hand side of the platform, place your next attempts at the scorer’s desk and enter the warmup area.

​

Attempts must be completed at the scorers table on your attempt card.

​

Your handler/coach is not permitted on the platform at any time during your lift.

​

Most importantly, have fun!

GPC Competition Only

Medals will be awarded to weight class winners on TOTAL (gold, silver, bronze) and

the overall male and female will be based on the Glossbrenner formula.


Novice competitors will receive a digital certificate the week following the event.

By car: Rucci's Gym is easily accessible via Mitchell Freeway, off the Reid Highway exit.


By bus: Transperth bus stop 27438 (Victoria Rd After Kallis St) on Victoria road is 500m to Rucci's Gym. For the Transperth journey planner Click Here.


By taxi/uber: Door to door service is available directly from Rucci's Gym.

Parking

Limited parking is available. Please car pool or use public transport if possible.

Parking inside the venue is reserved for staff, officials, volunteers, vendors and sponsors.

Street parking is available, but please consider our neighboring businesses and do not park in front of driveways or limit street access in any way. You may be fined for parking on private property or parking illegally on the street.

Food and Refreshments

A food truck will be available for lunch.

 

The Rucci's Gym Café will be available from 8:00AM for light refreshments including coffee, drinks and snacks.

This is a professional broadcast with multiple camera angles, data overlays, live chat, commentary and a live score sheet. The live score sheet will also be available to spectators on the day with their mobile phones or tablets.
