What major roadblock is preventing you from hitting your goals?

In the modern world, we're all hit with barriers that prevent us from doing things we want or looking after ourselves.

We had a few responses to our question this week about roadblocks preventing you from hitting your goals. We're all achievement driven in a sense. There are not many of us that don't want to be better at something.

Let's cover some of the responses we received.

1) Too much information that isn't correct, supplied by people with little idea.

To meander around this though you need to find credible, experienced, and authoritative sources for your information. Take us for example. Would you consider us to be a credible source of information for strength training and Powerlifting? We'd hope so. Success leaves clues.

2) Low self-esteem.

While we're not going to pretend to be psychologists, we do know that the way you see yourself is very important. Exercising/training is certainly an indicated activity to help boost confidence, self-worth, and self-esteem. When you train, your body releases endorphins, your body changes, and you feel better and this has a net positive impact on you psychologically.

3) Work stress, always sad.

Life has its stressors that can hit us hard. Work, relationship, financial... there is stress hitting us at every turn. In terms of work, it's a big reason preventing a lot of people from achieving the things they want, and we get it. Work = money = put food on the table. We have families, we get it. But, you need to take some time out for yourself because you matter and a healthy you means a better you.

4) The voice in my head saying you're not good enough.

The good news is, you're not alone. All everyone sees these days is the highlight reel of people's lives. The fact is, you are good enough. Believe in yourself!
